Enhancing Accessibility and Longevity
Location: Soda Springs, California Dates Poured: September 22 and October 10, 2025Camp Wamp, operated by the Wampler Foundation near Lake Tahoe, California, is a summer camp dedicated to empowering children with physical disabilities through outdoor adventure and community. When Camp Wamp identified the need for a new outdoor dance and event area, the project required a material that could withstand high traffic and extreme weather conditions while maintaining aesthetic appeal.
Fortera’s ReAct® Blend was selected to deliver a durable, flexible, and visually striking concrete surface that enhances accessibility and longevity. The new space now serves as a welcoming, resilient hub for camp activities, bringing the Camp Wamp community together on a foundation built to last.

“The concrete with ReAct finished more easily. There was noticeably less cracking in the mix with Fortera compared to without. The consistency in color and surface would make me excited to use ReAct in decorative or architectural concrete.”

“In my experience I can say that the concrete mix with ReAct material cleared out 200 linear feet of hose without delay, as with regular concrete mix there is an 80% chance we have an issue … NO DRY PACK as a pump operator this makes our job a lot easier. The product looks amazing when it’s all finished and cured.”
