I have a friend who owns a successful cement company, drives a Tesla and has solar on his roof. When I first met him, I assumed that owning a green car and sporting solar on his roof would mean he’d be open to learning about green cement, given that traditional Portland cement is responsible for 7% to 8% of human-caused carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions worldwide.
